Physics
Physics is math with a purpose. We start from the picture, draw the forces, pick the right equation and check if the answer makes sense in the real world.

- Rate
- $40 to $80 per hour
- How sessions work
- OnlineIn person
The exact rate depends on the level and the arrangement.
What we cover
- Kinematics and motion graphs
- Newton's laws and free body diagrams
- Work, energy and power
- Momentum and collisions
- Circular motion and gravitation
- Waves and sound
- Electricity and simple circuits
- Problem solving with units and estimation
Who it is for
High school physics students, AP Physics 1 and 2 students, and college students in an introductory physics course.
What students walk away with
- A repeatable method for any physics problem
- Comfort turning a word problem into equations
- Real intuition for how the world moves
How sessions work
Every session is one hour, one-on-one, and follows your class, your homework and your goals. We review what is coming up, work through it together and leave you with practice that sticks.
- Online anywhere in the U.S.
- In person in Minneapolis by arrangement
